They also provide Aveda shampoo (no conditioner), soap, and lotion (nothing else). The only thing this hotel currently has going for it is the people who work here- thank goodness they were all so friendly and helpful. I have stayed at beautiful boutique hotels, and this is in no way a boutique hotel. They were generous with the shampoo though! Fluorescent lighting throughout. The room was dirty after being cleaned by housekeeping (tons of mystery hair on the floor, sheets, and sneaker prints in the shower), and they only give you three towels and four pillows per day. Half of the hotel had to be relocated to another hotel when they lost power, and we had interruptions to our hot water during our stay. Our room had cheap furniture and lamps that were not cute in any way. That meant the room was tiny (full sized bed for two people and a baby), and old, for the same price. We requested to stay in a room away from the generator since we were here for several days and needed to sleep. We were not warned of the conditions when booking the hotel. The hotel is under major renovation, which unfortunately they think is an acceptable condition to charge full price. I left several other messages on the Lost & Found number but they still haven't returned my call 5 days later. I called immediately but didn't hear back. After we had checked out I realized I had left an iPad and several items of clothing behind. Our family was shoved into a tiny room at the new hotel as the Indigo didn't create a block with comparable rooms. The hotel booked a block of small rooms at a nearby hotel and bused everyone out late that evening. Using our phones as flashlights we made our way to the 11th floor to grab what we could. We overheard a staff member saying that there was a fire in the basement and they had lost all power to the guest rooms. On day three we pulled up to the hotel around 8:30 trying to get our kids down at a reasonable hour for elementary school the next day. On the second day I called for more towels and toiletries as there wasn't enough for the four of us. I was surprised that there was no mini fridge or drawers for clothing but we could work around that. The large suite we had booked was clean and comfortable. My family checked into the Indigo for a 5 day stint while we had work done on our house.
